I want one, but they don’t seem to be available anywhere. Hopefully releasing soon.
Yeah, I searched all the Chinese shopping sites, including the one mentioned in the video description, but couldn't find it. Hopefully, with that video out, we'll start seeing them in the coming months.

Has anyone tried the small Week Aqua filters? They have announced a nano version on their socials:

I can’t find it anywhere yet, but I’m keen to replace the old filter on my 45cm nano

There are a number of ADA Superjet clones like that out there. I think the pump is the key to whether it's any good or not. I still haven't gotten around to fully evaluating the Tru filters I bought before Christmas. I tested one of the smaller ones for a brief time and decided the pump on the highest speed had an annoying whine, but it wasn't a fair test since I was pushing water to a height at the max of it's specs.

True, I presume the canister itself is much the same between models. I like the Week Aqua as it works through their app and I’ve been happy with the quality of their lights. Depending on the price when it’s released, I will get one to review.

I purchased this from FZone for a shallow ~10 gallon because I wanted something unobtrusive as the aquarium might be moved to my office. It seems like it would be fine for something smaller, but I find their pump on the bottom a bit odd, and it's definitely not pulling it's weight with such a large horizontal area. The skimmer is really finicky and just serves to weaken directional flow because I can't seem to keep it at a good height consistently, but that really might be a user error. 🤨

I hadn't seen those yet.

Shame about the flow as they are a neat looking unit for a countertop setup

I would totally endorse it with a smaller aquarium (so far). It is a very convenient size, pretty simple, which I like, and seems sturdy. Although this would be my first nano canister so I don't have a comparison.... which might have been a good disclaimer to include initially. 😝

What’s the length of your shallow 10 gallon? I’m planning a 24” long countertop nano tank (UNS 60L, about 6 gallons) and looking for good filter options.

I just double checked and I actually overestimated the volume on mine. Attached the aquarium specs. It might be fine but for the price I feel like another could do better. Maybe this is nothing new with canisters, but with the pump and hoses being at the base of the canister, I think it would be a big pain to deal with maintenance without double taps too. I don't like disconnecting the hoses at the base everytime I need to mess with it and the double taps ruin some of the aesthetic appeal (they look big and out of place).

Did you get the small or medium size? I agree the hoses connecting at the base is pretty annoying.
