So when I first saw this, I asked why someone put a cigar into the aquarium. But, no, it's a new diffuser from GLA that is supposed to produce ultra fine bubbles.

Here's what they wrote:

Something new is coming for planted aquariums.

After a long period of development and testing, we’re working on a new class of CO₂ diffuser built around a precision ceramic diffusion core housed in polycarbonate.

The goal was simple:

Create the finest CO₂ atomization possible for planted aquariums. We searched the globe and found the perfect ceramic media. Only available from a beautiful small family.

The result is a diffuser that produces an extremely fine mist of microbubbles — significantly smaller and more uniform than typical ceramic diffusers. The improved atomization allows CO₂ to stay suspended in the water column longer, increasing dissolution efficiency and improving distribution throughout the aquarium.

For aquascapers, that means:
• Better CO₂ utilization
• More stable plant growth
• Less wasted gas
• Crystal clear diffusion performance

These photos show early prototypes currently undergoing testing. Performance so far has been extremely promising and unlike anything we’ve seen on the market.
We’re excited to share more details soon as development continues.

The next evolution of planted aquarium CO₂ diffusion is on the way. These are only a few new designs that will be coming out soon. I cant wait to show you the performance because it’s absolutely mind blowing.

Stay tuned.

If you don't have a Yugang reactor , maybe this is the next best option?

No matter what you think, I commend them for putting RND into the planted aquarium hobby and trying to push technology forward for all of us. Thanks, Green Leaf Aquariums!

CO2art has something similar called their Flux diffuser.

“Welcome the V2 version of the World's finest Precision NEW Bazooka In-Tank Flux CO2 Diffuser for planted aquariums. The improved ceramic membrane provides the highest dissolution rates thanks to innovative CO2 nano mist technology.

A CO2 Flux aquarium diffuser optimises the amount of CO2 entering the aquarium for efficient plant absorption and less co2 waste. As the CO2 bubbles pass through the porous ceramic membrane, they are diffused into streams of tiny bubbles. With increased surface area, the tiny CO2 bubbles are readily dissolved into the water, increasing the saturation of carbon dioxide in the underwater ecosystem.“

I tried it. It left me underwhelmed…. I remain so much more enamored with a diy horizontal reactor.

These are all just repackaged versions of the original ‘bazooka’ diffusers.
If they are as good as the bazookas then they do produce much finer bubbles than most in tank diffusers. You can find them pretty cheap on Aliexpress these days, about $5, I use them on my smaller tanks.
I have used their co2 atomizer around 4-6 years ago and I still have a few today. I've also bought several cheap atomizers from amazon etc.

They sold a cheaper diffuser with the same tube design, along with a longer one labelled and more expensive "atomizer" on their website.

I can confirm theirs 4-6 years ago did produce much finer co2 bubbles than the general stock ones.
And yes, they were 40-60$ compared to the $15 on amazon.

I actually have several of them, and they are still working, although the suction cups eventually just failed. The only reason I stopped using it is my co2 regulator from Buceplant is kinda crap and will have differen't bubble rates depending on the time of day, so I've accidentily gassed my fish several times with it. I swapped to testing yugang reactors since this isn't possible on them.

I would give them the benefit of a doubt in that these are much finer than the regular stock ones you get. CO2 art is most likely the ones reselling the general stock ones.
