Weird whitish spots on my plant

Not sure. But I have seen this happen to S.Repens and spread to other plants and they all melt. Dennis mentioned it is a form of transition stress.
I’ve had this happen with Ludwigia in the past too. I agree I believe it’s transition stress, something changed resulting in the stem abandoning the leaves. It can melt the whole plant though too.
