Water Changes - Continuous or None?!?

Not sure if this counts as continuous but TMK does automated 20 gallon changes 4x a day on his 300 Gallon discus tank.
He has basic plants though

okay i watched the video. Not very elegant lol but def gets the job done. But I see what you mean about his plants.

Good morning, after a lot of sweat and thought, I created an automatic water change system. I use rainwater that I collect on my roof but also my terraces. it arrives in a buried 5m3 tank then is sucked up and filtered (50/10/5/1microns then carbon, then passes through an osmosis unit then an anionic resin then on a UVC filter) in a 1m3 tank. At this stage I remineralize it (micro/macro) then once a day I pump this water directly into the aquarium (around 50L) The aquarium is equipped with an overflow. here is my experience
