Is there anyone out there that injects CO2 in a planted aquarium that also successfully keeps German blue Rams? If so, please share any advice on your success that you can. How much PPM of CO2 can they tolerate because I’ve seen a lot of different opinions.

I think the more pressing issue here is not the level of CO2 but the temperature. The GBR's like higher temps which may not be as conducive for plants.
I was thinking the same!
I've seen beautiful CO2 injected tanks with rams for years (MJ just did a tank with them), but only certain plants will do well at those temps.
Filipe Oliviera had a beautiful tank in his kitchen dedicated to a pair of rams:
CO2 wasn't an issue when I kept them. Finding a good breed is more important. A lot of poor genetics around. Also they are easily outcompeted for food by faster species, so choose their mates carefully.
I have found this too, unfortunately. I’ve lost too many over the last decade and won’t try them again. They are such beautiful fish, and have such interesting personalities.
If I were going to try them again I would avoid fish shops and seek out local breeders that have a proven track record, and stick to the ‘vanilla’ versions rather than the overbred neon or balloon variants.
Bolivian rams don’t seem to suffer the same issues and have similar, but calmer personalities. They don’t have the same visual effect, but I have found mine to be very hardy and it has no issues with CO2 or lower temperatures.
