Unlimited Power! Aquael Hypermax 4500 BT for a Waterbox 4820

So this is the filter I have my eyes on for my 120u build, BUT I was planning on using a reducer to 16/22. For inline heater etc. In your opinion will the filter not prime like this? I’m just wondering because of the priming issues you posted if this is something that will bite me later and I should just do dual filters instead even though I would prefer to have the 1.
You can reduce the outlet without an issue, you just cant do it on the filter inlet as that chokes the filter/pump, for example ADA filters have larger inlet tubes and smaller outlet tubing, the smaller outlet creates more velocity, while the larger inlet "feeds" the filter. Inline heaters go on the outlet so you should be fine plus that's only one of two outlets being reduced.

Okay perfect! Thank you!
