Journal " The Creek" 75g tank and stand build

Heres some extra moulding I got 6" fluted 8' 5.00 each,The 3" fluted like on cabinet build 7 foot 3.00 each, 5"x8' flat stock 5.00. some nice 1.5'" x 6' decorative trim 3.00 each crazy cheap prices on moulding here. cost 3-4x more easily at Lowe's or depo all wood not mdf crap. Plan on the 6" wide fluted for large mirror frame and another 75g tank build.

Looks good
For cheap its good enough looking for me but not for others. I try and do a decent looking stand near cheapo as possible and I'm happy with my cheapo stands. Many want a perfecto square ada/uns blah stand but not me. I want something cheap, strong as hell and not looking to win a stand contest in end but nice and clean. it will finish out great as I was a house/cabinet painter for 10+ years. I know tricks to make even brushed on paint smooth as sprayed In end. floetrol and penetrol is difference between seeing brush strokes in end or not. Sanding between coats makes a huge difference too.
