Problem with tissue culture cups is that sometimes I just want one plant

Sometimes, all I'm looking for is one plant...

I can only find it in tissue culture cups and end up with more plants than I know what to do with!
First world problem, I know. I hear the tiny violins playing. It's real though.

Today I had to go find those seedling trays to house the extras because I hate throwing away plants. :)

Am I the only one that feels this way?

It's often hard to gauge exactly how much you'll get out of a TC cup, especially cups of carpeting plants, so I order on the high side and then I inevitably stuff leftovers in the farm tank or throw it away. Big waste of money and I feel your pain. Some aquascaping videos call this a positive for going with TC saying you get more plants for an equivalent cost of emersed grown potted or cut plants. I don't see it that way. The only positives I see from TC is the lack of hitchhikers and the ability to let it sit in the cup for awhile before planting.
