does anyone have experience comparing plant growth of in non co2 shrimp tanks with sponge filter (air powered) vs internal?
I know that internal filters will degas a lot less co2 than air powered sponge filters, but I have seen a lot of beautiful planted caridina tanks that run multiple sponge filters in them.
Granted they might not be growing the pickiest plant species, but it is fairly respectable results!
And ofcourse I am not growing super picky species in non-co2 anyways.
