If its like the original I predict fast, thick, robust growth (amazon forest growth). Also melting but growing past the melt (growth faster than melt)

Im not thrilled about water changes but excited on the structures ill see in the erios

Tank 2
So my uaupes tank had gotten severely deficient. This shows I dont start dosing until I see signs that I need to. The cure is not overnight but a gradual rebound. No freaking out just patience from the plants and patience by me. So judging the plants decides my course of action. As known I do not dose my tanks but this one i had to. I put about (I really dont know) estimated 3ppm kno3 (along with phosphate potassium magnesium) for 4 or 5 days straight.

This is October 15th when o started dosing.

And this is October 22
Green comes from the center on out

It is not an overnight thing

My system of moving plants in and out is terrible. Id rate it as a 6/10. Selling is the motivation. But when the sales aren't coming and the tank gets overcrowded I always, always get overwhelmed. I can boost sales by making the price cheaper but I dont want to do that. Pretty soon the plants will go to being worthless. Throwing away is a option, I dont like doing that either. Topping and discarding the bottoms is the best way. Running out of space sucks, overgrown plants taking over the tank also sucks. I know friends that are great at flow (moving plants in and out) something I need to improve on. Otherwise i need to improve my topping/bottoming skills (that does come easier with sales) and trash the bottoms.

A super underrated erio imo. Going just @$15 per erio. This erio stays small and has the potential for really thick leaves. I will aim to strive for this potential, right now i think its "all in the soil". It does flower very easily but I just pull the stalks periodically. It splits very easily.

Eriocaulon xeranthemum (Indian erio)

Eriocaulon ratnagiri gold vs eriocaulon "original" ratnagiri

There's a difference right now but it could just be the life stage. Full grown as well time will tell.

Thats eriocaulon goias type 2. I haven't been able to source regular goias.

A good step into erios. Im loving the genus, my new passion. The vietnam is super easy I dont think anything else is that easy. Next in line would be like cinerium, polaris, linear/ aquaticum/compressor category although I've never even tried that category.

The cups are just planters off amazon but rather easy to make your own. I use them for newly sprouted plantlets from seed.

Thanks for your reply hope you get into/indulge into erios.
