Looking great! What are the stems to the right of the wilsonii group?

Thanks! Thats Didiplis diandra. Its great for making a dense thick bush. Can change its color fast, over the course of a day. Typically it stays a bright yellow. Extreme light or a heavy dose of Fe can make it turn deep reddish brown. Macros dont hinder the color at all unless they run short. Growing in inert substrate it thrives with heavy ferts in the water. These are all inert blasting sand, the vid too
Limnophila belem sorta flies under the radar but it can show striking colors with inert sub+rich water. Its the middle group all the way on the right in the vid

Oh wow! I actually thought the diplis diandra might be limno belem. I really like the color contrasts and layout. That fasset green looks amazing, too! Lots of plants I still need to try out. Thank you, Joe!

Anybody growing Rotala sp 'Maka Red'? Looks identical to wallichii varieties, except its noticeably wider
These have been in this spot for about two weeks. Directly right of the Lily, tallest group in the tank. Its right underneath a full spectrum bulb that kinda washes out the color. Its not quite as wide as it typically gets but theres zero stunting
And guess what....
Its not even planted! Matter of fact its been sitting a couple inches off the bottom, held up by the groups beside it. Those bright white roots have never touched the sand
Try that with a lean water column, lol
Somebody call Marcell and tell him I finally figured it out!!

Well here's the Maka Red I just got from you a couple weeks ago. Are you telling me this is the first time these stems have been in substrate? They seem to be taking the change OK. I was a little concerned as from above, it looks like the tops are turning rather white but after I took the photos from straight on I was happily surprised at the pink I was seeing. They've also shown some decent growth already as well.

Living room 75 is just chillin. Trimmed down pretty good. Most all this is actually planted

Limnophila sp Belem. It can be all green or it can color up like these, even more. How do yours look?
Thats from inert blasting sand and rich water. Loves macros. That color doesnt come from limiting no3 or anything else. If anything much runs low itll be a solid drab green. Still a pretty stem with little serrated leaves, but that color potential is dynamic!
I dont like the term "nutrient hog" because if you have inert sub a whole lot of plants seem like "hogs" lol. But even in my soil tanks it loves rich water

It looks good. Right now it has some red color. It usually doesn't have much. Just a bit of orange, but right now some good red streaks. I had some hiccup with my tank a week or two ago. I don't know what was going on. Pogo erectus stunted hard and plants started growing like they were nitrate limited even though they weren't. About the time I realized something was going on, everything righted itself and was fine. Everything is going back to lt green/yellow/lt orange. I have the most beautiful bronze orange Blyxa japonica right now. Making a journal post tonight or tomorrow and you'll be able to see it some.

The one I have from you stays green all the time for me
