Can you heat up water when mixing ferts to dissolve the salts faster?

Usually I mix them up a week or so before needing them…

But this time got away from me…

I figure hotter water will dissolve the salts faster..

Just wondering if any of the compounds would be deactivated by heating…

Tips: Sanitize bottles before use (boil). Warm (not boiling) water speeds up salt dissolution during mixing. Never microwave plastic bottles.

I have a temp-adjustable electric kettle that I use to heat my RO water to dissolve my ferts with. I like 120*F.

Note that you should always stay within the solubility limits at room temp for your ferts if you're gonna heat up water. Nothing worse than creating a concentrated solution while the water is warm, only to have it precipitate out when it cools.

But yes, I heat my water to speed up the process every time, because I'm an incredibly impatient person. Guess I'm in the wrong hobby!

I put my ferts and water in the microwave.
My mix isn't super concentrated, so I don't have to get it much warm for them to dissolve.
The PO4 takes it's time even if I heat it. I can tell it's the PO4 because the crystals look the same as after I first put them in.
