The blurple was too much. Can’t say I didn’t try.

I was having a hell of a time chasing down this intermittent stunting. Discovered the issue while testing my RO water for the carnivorous plants. Massive TDS creep. Something failed somewhere (I think a check valve and/or the flow restrictor failed when I clipped a line mowing the yard). Haven’t tracked down the exact cause yet, but I ordered a RO Buddie kit to hold me over.

The tank is rejoicing.

I’ve had mine running for 6 years, never had a problem.

@Rob23 still running the Jebao (albeit on a different tank). Never skipped a beat.

Wanted to update the sad state of a tanks end of life. Real tanks look like this sometimes.

Will be completely stripping everything, doing a potassium permanganate treatment, new substrate, new filter, and starting over.

I've been looking for a tank just about that size to do a mini Iwagumi scape. I take it the tank quality is good ?

I like it a lot. Great bang for the buck. It’s the regular model without the 45 degree beveled edges and ultra clear glass but if you didn’t know you couldn’t tell.

Interesting. The only Lifeguard 22g long I see online is the low iron glass for about $244.

Oh that’s it then. It’s low iron. Just doesn’t have the beveled corners. It’s on Chewy for 244. Picked it up on sale for 199 a while back.

I love it, but have grown tired of the height restriction. I have a friend with a 60U for me but no stand yet. That’s the next project
