Those are some stunning boesmani, are they Aytinjo? How old are they?
I'm not sure if they are Aytinjo, it's slim pickings here in Albuquerque; so just randomly saw them and bought them. I bought them June(ish) or so last year?

Cool, maybe, update. I'm not the biggest fan of Cory from Aquarium Co Op, but my lfs has invited me to do a Dutch tank display. I thought it would be fun and agreed. He moved into a larger store front and is having a grand opening event with Cory being there. Dustin (owner of The Fish Room) is a good kid and the only local seller trying to do good things here in ABQ. He loves Cory and the Co Op, so I definitely want to support him. Hopefully, Cory won't know who I am, we've butted heads in the past. March 2 if any are near by and want to meet Cory.

LOL now I am looking forward to this! Let us know how it goes might be some good intrigue!

I feel for Cory, he may become starstruck when seeing the red carpet rolled out for our award winning friend @Unexpected :)

Nothing is going well with the scape so far. Everything I change just looks terrible so I stop and hope next week will bring some inspiration. That’s not happening though 😆. So I have a pile of plant puke at the moment. I somehow completely pissed off my Spatulata, I guess it doesn’t like being moved? Never had this problem before, dunno! The Ludwigia has white spots on the lower leaves so have raised micros hoping this resolves soon. More plants ordered, maybe I just don’t like what I’m working with currently, dunno.

Are you considering a bigger tank, so that you have a bit more space between plant groups?

P.S. Your tank looks great to me, as it always does.

LOL I feel your pain. I feel that way about my tank most of the time.

Meanwhile 99.2% of the planted tankers would love to have what you have right now!

It's a never ending cycle. I am betting you find yourself going over the layout as you fall asleep at night? Right? If so you are as sick as me!!

Less gallons but better dimensions.

I’m going to need an intervention, it’s what I think about most of the day!

I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself here, so I will tread lightly. But @Yugang, a while ago, after posting my AGA tank and celebrating my 2nd place result; someone mentioned I grew nothing but easy plants bringing into question whether a Yugang Reactor could grow more challenging plants. This bothered me quite a bit and so I reached out to Joe @Burr740, and told him about how I was feeling. He reassured me why I chose the plants I used, “because just getting the scape was difficult enough.” I completely agree here, and exactly why I went easy plants. But, I asked him about more intermediate plants to see if the Yugang reactor performed the same with so called challenging plants. Long story short, he sold me some Tulu. They took a few weeks to adjust to my water but I’m starting to see happy growth. Also, I guess it’s questionable whether Furcata is challenging or not, but you don’t see it often (@GreggZ shows us how it should look 😆) I believe mine is starting to look decent.

Opinions and thoughts welcomed.

The whole easy/difficult plant thing is such a petty argument. Idgaf how many difficult plants you have, if the scape is pleasing to look at IMO that’s all that should matter. Just because you can GROW an easy plant doesn’t mean it’s healthy or at it’s fullest potential. Your tank is full of healthy and vibrant plants and something you should be proud of, which I know you are. Scape the tank you want and F anyone else who tells you otherwise.
