The 1 downside to BDBS I have found

The stuff does t hold a slope worth a darn…

I noticed my two 29 gallons was dead level and chalked it up to not paying attention so much…

So when setting up the 75 I made sure it was sloped to the back with about a 3 inch height difference between the front of the tank and the rear.

A few months later it is dead level again…

The air riser stubs from the UGF plates are sticking out of the sand a few inches when it was originally covered…

Years ago people used to glue terraces into their tanks. You can hide them with plants, but I still think that would be a pain in the behind. Before aquasoils, everyone used Flourite. It was just as bad.
