Since these are starting, here's a thread.

Starbond, the makers of Cyanocrylate Adhesives, has a few items on sale. Black Friday Starts Early 2026 | Starbond. I'm a fan of their Clog Prevention Stoppers. There are some sanding discs on sale for the woodworkers in the crowd too.

I’ve only used it for the one live competition scape that I did, but their dyed thin CA glues with long applicator tips are great for aquascaping. The dark brown glue matched my cotton balls so well to the mesquite I was using I didn’t even have plants near some of the joints iirc. I’ll definitely be using it again in the future.

I ditched the cotton balls and paper towel for one of the new products designed specifically for the task and I think it's a game changer. No need for colored glue. I use this:

Hygger Cotton Wool for Aquascape

Oh wow that does look pretty dam sweet! The finely chopped fibers honestly look way easier to handle and mold than a torn up cotton ball. I’m starting on a 7 gallon cube soon for my desk so I’ll have to get some and test it out. Thanks for sharing!

This seems totally frivolous.... which is the perfect Christmas present IMO!

I've only seen the Hygger name in the last 1-2 years, but they have some interesting products. I think they've been around awhile though.
