Our friends at Green Aqua have posted an absolutely wonderful video of a talk given by Yusuke Homma, who worked closely with Takashi Amano for 20 years. It's on the art and philosophy of Takashi Amano's nature aquarium concept. It's 32 minutes long but it's so worth the investment of time.

Pour yourself your favorite beverage and enjoy.

It really is a great video. Ever since I became interested in aquascaping about 2 years ago, I've been fascinated by the bio of Takashi Amano. I really wish I'd had an opportunity to meet him. I've also been fascinated by his Iwagumi scapes and hope to do one with one of the larger tanks I have waiting, but It scares me. The aquascape style that looks so simple and is yet so hard to pull off well and then maintain.
